Required Vaccinations


Dates of original and booster vaccinations, product name and manufacturer of the vaccine must be listed on the Verification Certificate. The serial and lot number for each vaccine must be listed on the cattle processing sheet to be kept in the farm files. The following vaccinations are required:


Clostridial (7-way) SQ only
IBR/BVD/PI3/BRSV (must use modified live product at least four weeks prior to shipment)

Required Practices

Dates for the following required practices must be included on the IQ+BEEF Verification Certificate.
Castration
Dehorning
Internal parasite treatment (must control inhibited Ostertagia sp. )
External parasite treatment
Grub/lice (August 1 through November 15)
Lice (after November 15)
Bull out date
All injections given to calves from birth must be administered into the neck area.
